Creamy Weetbix Protein Porridge

Breakfast cereals often get a bad wrap, but Weetbix is one of the better breakfast cereals options! And when made the right way, like in this porridge, they are a super nutritious and balanced meal. This PROTEIN WEETBIX PORRIDGE is my current breakfast obsession and is high protein, high fibre and the most creamy porridge I've ever made.

I'm usually not one to have the same breakfast more than 2 days in a row, but this recipe has been on repeat lately. I just can't get enough! It literally takes 2 minutes to make, so you won't get a much easier breakfast than this!

Ingredients

  • 3 Weetbix (or use however many you like, I used GF Weetbix)

  • 1/2 tbsp flaxmeal and 1/2 tbsp chia seeds (or just use 1 tbsp of either)

  • 1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)

  • 1 serve Happy Way Vegan protein powder (vanilla or chocolate or whatever flavour you have on hand!)

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder (optional for a chocolate flavoured porridge)

  • Boiling water

  • Almond milk

  • Toppings: banana, berries, nuts or nut butter, honey
